Years ago, I wanted to do something romantic for my wife Jennifer's birthday. I'm not naturally a words guy, I worked for years as a nerdy chemist in big pharma and then jumped ship to run my marketing agency. Poetry and heartfelt inscriptions don't exactly flow out of me.
So I went to Papyrus and bought one of those fancy $8 sparkly cards. You know the ones.

On the back, there was this beautiful inscription:
"Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy, and celebration."
I thought: Perfect.
So I "borrowed" it. Wrote it inside the card like it came straight from my heart.
Jennifer was touched. Maybe even a little misty-eyed.
For about four days.
Then she went shopping at a stationery store, picked up a card, flipped it over – and found my romantic inscription printed on the back!!!!!
Busted.
I tell you this because I see practitioners do a version of this all the time.
They know they need content. They know they should be showing up with emails, posts, videos. But the words don't come naturally – so they borrow.
They grab swipe files. Use templates. Imitate what Mark Hyman or some other big name is doing.
And it works... until it doesn't.
Because borrowed words don't sound like you. They don't carry your conviction. And your audience can feel the difference – even if they can't name it.
You don't have to come up with all this great content on your own and you don’t need to be a copywriter to create emotionally resonant content in 2026.
AI can help – if you train it well.
The key word is train.
Most practitioners use AI like a vending machine. They throw in a prompt, get generic output, and wonder why it sounds like everyone else.
That's not how this works.
The AI doesn't know your origin story. It doesn't know why you became a practitioner, what drives you, what pisses you off, what breaks your heart. It doesn't know your quirks, your beliefs, your "I'll die on this hill" statements.
Until you teach it.
When you feed AI your point of view, your patient avatar, your voice, your lived experiences – it stops spitting out generic content and starts producing something that actually sounds like you.
Not a replacement for your voice. An amplifier of it.
That's the shift.
Instead of borrowing someone else's words and hoping no one notices – you train a system to capture your words at scale.
Your perspective. Your emotional clarity. Your signature messaging.
So your emails sound like you wrote them on your best day. Your posts carry your conviction. Your content builds trust – because it's unmistakably yours.
If you want to go deeper on this.... how to train your AI to write emotionally intelligent content, I've got two resources for you, depending on how deep you want to go:
