In this blog, I want to talk about how to master time. Once you master time, then you create a space to pursue a lot of other things in your life. Whether it’s professionally or personally.
This is a concept that Peter Osborne at his Functional Medicine Success Summit brought back to mind. He talks about using systems and processes and automation to create more time for a practitioner, and I love this quote.
“Time is a resource that is non-renewable and non-transferable. You cannot store it, slow it up, hold it up, divide it up or give it up. You can’t hoard it or save it for a rainy day. When it’s lost, it is unrecoverable. When you kill time, remember that it has no resurrection.”
This is something that Peter Osborne reminded me of at his Functional Medicine Success Summit last year. He was talking about it in the context of marketing automation, something I’m totally resonating with as well.
For a holistic integrative functional medicine practitioner, the value of your time is really paramount. You have to really ask yourself, is what you’re doing really worthy of your time? Can it be delegated to your team? Can it be outsourced to another company? Or can it be automated with marketing automation?
So at Big Boost, we’re really focused on how to help health practitioners leverage more of their time by using marketing automation. That means the content that’s on their website, the lead magnets that enroll people onto your mailing list, the email sequences and videos that go out to them to pre-educate and pre-qualify them, that they know, love and trust you enough to schedule a phone consultation.
This concept of leveraging time, of being more efficient with your time takes many aspects, but marketing automation is really one of the key areas that you need to look at as a health practitioner. Let’s face it, marketing automation is super important for health practitioners today. Because if your passion is healing people, that’s what you should focus on, but you still have to market your services, your skills, your expertise in your community to be known as the go-to choice.
That’s where marketing automation really takes center stage. Once you have these systems and processes in place, then you can really leverage time.
