In this blog, I want to talk about how to master time. Once you master time, then you create a space to pursue a lot of other things in your life. Whether it’s professionally or personally.

This is a concept that Peter Osborne at his Functional Medicine Success Summit brought back to mind. He talks about using systems and processes and automation to create more time for a practitioner, and I love this quote.

“Time is a resource that is non-renewable and non-transferable. You cannot store it, slow it up, hold it up, divide it up or give it up. You can’t hoard it or save it for a rainy day. When it’s lost, it is unrecoverable. When you kill time, remember that it has no resurrection.”

This is something that Peter Osborne reminded me of at his Functional Medicine Success Summit last year. He was talking about it in the context of marketing automation, something I’m totally resonating with as well.

For a holistic integrative functional medicine practitioner, the value of your time is really paramount. You have to really ask yourself, is what you’re doing really worthy of your time? Can it be delegated to your team? Can it be outsourced to another company? Or can it be automated with marketing automation?
