Wondering how to optimize your practice marketing? Feel like marketing your health practice is like a gigantic puzzle without having the big picture?
Well, you're not alone – working with integrative health practitioners, I oftentimes find that they are overwhelmed – or feel discouraged by not getting traction with their marketing.
In this video, I'll share the three pieces that you need to consider BEFORE you work on your actual marketing funnel – things that most integrative health practitioners unknowingly skip over, only to wonder why their marketing is not connecting despite their best intentions and efforts.
Why Does Marketing Feel So Difficult?
Before we go deeper into the process of optimizing your practice marketing... let me put this effort into perspective:
You have amassed an amazing amount of clinical knowledge - I might add at considerable expense, and effort.
And I suspect that you did it because you feel a calling as a healer... and not for the money... because let’s face it, there’s easier, less stressful ways to make money!
So you owe it to yourself and your family to make the most out of that asset to create a bigger income that fuels a bigger impact.
Now, working with integrative practitioners, I oftentimes see the same issues that hamstring their ability to grow their income to make a bigger impact:
In their eyes, marketing seems impossible to figure out – and I get it, when you don’t know how to go about it, it can feel like a gigantic puzzle... without knowing the big picture!
In many ways, it's the same feeling that your patients experience... and just like their health resolution seems easy to YOU (because you have the big picture), I can tell you that marketing your practice can become a lot easier when you have the big picture (as I explain in my video)!
The Goal Of Marketing
In a nutshell, the goal of marketing is to connect the right people with the right product/service.
Check out my video for a very illustrative example that highlights how marketing can be really easy... when your audience understands
- what it is that you're selling,
- when they are clear how it benefits them, and
- when they pay less for it then what it's worth
Your messaging on social media, your website, lead magnets, and emails form the bridge between those two bridgeheads... and just like in real life, you wouldn't want to start building the bridge before you have picked the best bridgeheads on each side, right?
So rather than figuring out what to say.... you should first figure out how to make your product so easy to understand, so irresistible... that your marketing becomes easy!
So to optimize your marketing, you need to first look at the match between your target audience and service... because the best marketing can’t sell a poor product, or a product that your audience doesn’t want!
