3 Things You Can Learn From The Most Watched Tiktok Videos

Most health practitioners aren't sure what to make of Tiktok – hesitant to start on a platform that seems to require dancing videos unbefitting a health practitioner.... and yet, Tiktok is the fastest growing platform right now – even surpassing paid ads in its effectiveness to grow an audience, fast!

In this video, I cover 3 things that every health practitioner can learn from the most watched Tiktok videos and how you may want to incorporate it in your marketing strategy... even if you're not on Tiktok itself!

#1: Hook Their Attention

The first five seconds are critical to get them interested in the rest of the video. As they’re scrolling through their Tiktok, FB or Instagram feed… why should they pay attention to your reel? Why should they stop and watch? Why should they care? It’s critical that you convey this in the first 5 seconds… or they’re moving on. When it comes to hacking people’s attention, there are different ways to do it. You could use visual cues and movement as exemplified by ads from Parsley Health.

#2: Have An Elevator Pitch

People try to instantly figure out “What’s in it for me?”, so it’s critical that you convey what you do that can help them. Why can they trust you? Why are you the authority on the topic? This will go hand-in-hand with the hook, and I'll cover a practical example of how doctors are doing it on Tiktok.

#3: Call To Action

What do you want them to do next? As much as we wish for an empowered audience exercising their mind… most consumers are cognitively too exhausted… so gently point them towards the next helpful step. In the video, I cover 7 possible call to actions (CTAs) you could deploy in your marketing.
